MEET THE TEAM
ISIDORO
Meet Isidoro, Owner and Executive Chef, affectionately known as Issy by friends. Originally from Galicia, he moved to London at the age of 17, where he began his journey in hospitality, starting in hotels before transitioning to restaurants. With 35 years of experience in London, Issy has spent the last 20 years successfully running About Thyme in the heart of Pimlico, where he and his team have consistently achieved their goals. Now, he is excited to share the culinary knowledge he gained in Gran Canaria with his team and guests.
BRUNO
Meet Bruno, our talented Sous Chef hailing from Portugal. Driven by his passion for design, he moved to London to pursue a degree in shoe design, all while balancing his studies with a career in hospitality. Starting as a waiter at About Thyme, Bruno's exceptional skills quickly earned him promotions to manager and then kitchen coordinator. Now at Travieso, he collaborates with Issy to craft an exciting menu that puts a modern twist on traditional recipes, showcasing his creativity and love for food.
MARCO
Meet Marco, our Host at Travieso Restaurant. Hailing from Italy, Marco relocated to London at the age of 20, fueled by his love for photography and videomaking. He developed his expertise while working as a waiter and barista at About Thyme, while he successfully executed various photography campaigns for magazines and brands. With a digital marketing certificate in hand, Marco is eager to oversee our social media efforts and make sure every guest receives a warm welcome and a refreshing drink.
